| Join Notts CTC Email Group! |
In order to streamline the use of email for Notts CTC communications, we have set up an e-mail 'group'. This permits a single Notts CTC email distribution list to be used for all e-mail communication that is intended for the whole group. There are a number of advantages of using this email group both to you and to Notts CTC:
- Your email address is kept private, with only the group administrators needing to see it and no risk of other members seeing it unnecessarily.
- If you change your email address you only need to re-subscribe to the group using your new address once, rather than informing many individuals.
- It is easier for new members to receive relevant Notts CTC communication. All members can browse the email communication archive.
- By logging on to the group at Notts CTC Google Group, you get to control how much email you receive and the name by which you are known on the group.
Since the group is private, in order to subscribe you will need to be invited to join. If you are interested in subscribing please send an email to the group administrator at NottsCTCGroup Admin Email mentioning which group you normally ride with (if appropriate) and a quick summary of the kind of cycling you enjoy. You will then be sent an invite and will need to click the authentication link in order to join the group. It is not possible to join the group without being invited.
As at August 2020 we have 110 members so it is a good way to find out what other members are thinking.
